Individual therapy

Individual therapy offers a collaborative space to navigate life's challenges, better understand yourself, and create meaningful change. Therapy can help you with managing overwhelming experiences or emotions, grief, trauma, regaining control over mental health challenges, building healthier and stronger relationships, or building a more authentic, connected, meaningful life.
My approach is integrative, recognising that no single approach is right for everyone. I draw on evidence-informed approaches including EMDR, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (parts work), tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals.
At the heart of my approach is a belief that our past experiences shape how we think, feel, relate to others, and respond to life's challenges today. Together, we'll explore these patterns to better understand what you're experiencing, helping to create meaningful and lasting change, not just ways to cope with the symptoms.

Trauma therapy

Maybe you’ve tried counselling before. Read the advice, tried the apps, done the work. But the strategies just don’t seem enough, and old issues or patterns keep resurfacing. Deep down, there are parts of you that sometimes feel disconnected from others, maybe a bit broken, or even crazy.

Trauma can shape the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. It can leave us feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve us, long after the experiences themselves have passed.

Whether you're living with the impact of past trauma, navigating present difficulties, or seeking a greater sense of connection and wellbeing, therapy offers a space to explore your experience safely and work towards healing and meaningful change.

I provide expert therapy founded on 25 years experience and specialised training in treating trauma.

Healing is possible. You don't have to do it alone.

Parent coaching and therapy

Parenting should be easy, right? Other people seem to have it down pat. So, why does everything you do seem to make it worse? Maybe you are walking on eggshells to keep the peace? Or maybe you feel like you are holding everything to support your child, but it makes no difference?

You are not alone. And you’re not a failure.

Parenting is harder than it has ever been. Navigating an ever-changing and increasingly complex environment with little support and no manual is hard. Really hard.

I provide expert parenting support, free of blame or judgement, and tailored to your needs and level of confidence. I have over two decades of experience supporting parents to manage their children’s complex emotional and behavioural challenges and restoring and strengthening their relationships.

I am a registered Circle of Security Parenting Program practitioner, a registered Positive  Parenting Program (Triple P) practitioner, and have provided tailored groupwork and counselling to parents of adolescents with complex, high-risk behaviours across Australia.

For clinicians and organisations

My love of learning evolved over time to include a passion for supporting others to learn and develop in their practice. Alongside considerable experience as a therapist, I am an experienced professional trainer, academic teacher, and qualified clinical supervisor.
I have an interest and expertise in complex trauma, attachment, and dissociation, family and sexual violence, parenting young people with challenging behaviours, and trauma informed practice.

Clinical supervision

Clinical supervision for therapists and helping professionals that is collaborative, reflective, evidence-informed, and tailored to your level of experience, professional context, and learning goals. Offering a space that supports you to deeply reflect on your work, develop skills, work through clinical and ethical challenges, and foster your wellbeing. Supervision will support you to deepen your understanding of clients, strengthen your practice and confidence, and remain grounded and effective in your work.

Professional training

Training and workshops for organisations, teams, and educators that can be tailored to the needs and professional context of participants. Delivered in a way to encourage engagement, discussion, reflection, and practical learning. Training packages include Working with Complex Trauma, Recognising and Working with Dissociation, Trauma-Informed Practice, Trauma and Young People, Managing Vicarious Trauma and Burnout, Working with Families Experiencing AVITH, and more. I can also adapt these trainings to specific audiences (e.g., Juvenile Justice).

Consulting

Offering tailored services to organisations, teams, and businesses aimed to improve service delivery and staff wellbeing. Some examples include conducting needs analyses to identify gaps, aligning systems to best practice frameworks, such as trauma informed practice or family violence codes, implementing procedures for monitoring client outcomes, supporting teams to improve service delivery through case review meetings, group supervision and training, and secondary consultations for practitioners or leaders.
